Canon EOS R6V भारत में आ गया, लेकिन ₹2.35 लाख खर्च करने से पहले यह पढ़ें
13 मई 2026 को Canon India ने EOS R6V और RF 20-50mm F4L IS USM lens को भारत में officially launch किया। Camera body की कीमत है ₹2,35,995, lens अलग से ₹1,42,995, और दोनों का kit bundle आता है ₹3,55,995 में। Canon ने इसे India के growing creator economy के लिए बनाया है और साथ में #IndiaInMotion नाम का एक creator initiative भी launch किया। सुनने में सब बहुत अच्छा लगता है। लेकिन जब आप एक Indian filmmaker हैं और आपकी मेहनत की कमाई दाँव पर है, तो marketing से ज़्यादा ज़रूरी है सच्चाई।
R6V असल में है क्या और यह R6 Mark III से कैसे अलग है?
यहाँ एक बात अक्सर articles में miss हो जाती है। Canon EOS R6V कोई brand-new camera नहीं है। इसके अंदर वही 32.5MP full-frame CMOS sensor है जो EOS R6 Mark III में है और उसी का DIGIC X processor भी। Canon ने essentially एक ही गुठली को अलग-अलग छिलके में पैक किया है। R6 Mark III photographer के लिए है, C50 cinema production के लिए और R6V उन creators के लिए जो रोज़ाना video shoot करते हैं।
तो R6V में नया क्या है? तीन बड़े बदलाव हैं built-in active cooling fan, dedicated vertical tripod mount, और EVF यानी electronic viewfinder हटा दिया गया। इसके अलावा full-size HDMI port, 4-channel audio recording, और 7K Open Gate RAW recording। Canon का दावा है कि fan की वजह से यह R6 Mark III से तीन गुना ज़्यादा देर तक बिना रुके record कर सकता है।
Viewfinder हटाने का सच, Indian creators के लिए असली समस्या
Canon ने EVF हटाने को “cleaner, rig-friendly design” बताया। लेकिन ज़मीनी सच्चाई यह है कि भारत में shooting conditions बिल्कुल अलग हैं। राजस्थान की तेज़ धूप में, गोवा के बीच पर, या दिल्ली की मई की दोपहर में 3 इंच की rear screen पर framing करना बेहद मुश्किल हो जाता है। जो creators outdoor shoot करते हैं, उनके लिए यह एक genuine limitation है। EVF की कमी को Canon ने screen brightness बढ़ाकर compensate करने की कोशिश की है पर direct sunlight में यह काफी नहीं होता।
7K Open Gate – यह impressive है, पर किसके लिए?
7K Open Gate recording का मतलब है कि camera अपने पूरे sensor area का इस्तेमाल करता है जिससे post-production में footage को crop और reframe करने की freedom मिलती है। YouTube के लिए shoot करें, फिर वही footage Instagram Reels और TikTok के लिए vertical crop करें। यह genuinely useful feature है।
लेकिन यहाँ असली सवाल है। 7K RAW footage को edit करने के लिए आपको एक powerful workstation चाहिए — minimum M2 MacBook Pro या एक high-end Windows PC जिसकी कीमत ₹1.5-2 लाख से शुरू होती है। CFexpress Type B card, जिस पर यह footage save होगी, वह India में ₹15,000-20,000 से कम में नहीं मिलती। यानी R6V का असली cost सिर्फ ₹2.35 लाख नहीं है पूरा ecosystem बनाने में ₹5-6 लाख आराम से लग सकते हैं।

क्या R6V से R6 Mark III users को upgrade करना चाहिए?
बहुत से reviews में यह implied है कि अगर आपके पास R6 Mark III है, तो R6V naturally अगला step है। यह सच नहीं है। R6 Mark III एक hybrid camera है यानी उससे आप professional stills भी खींच सकते हैं और video भी। R6V ने mechanical shutter और EVF हटाकर खुद को strictly video tool बना दिया है। अगर आप एक wedding photographer-videographer हैं जो एक ही camera से दोनों काम करते हैं, तो R6V upgrade नहीं tradeoff है।
